I went to a fresh produce market
This Saturday I went to a fresh produce market with mom. I was very used to the daily grocery markets back home, and I heard there are huge wholesale markets in Flemington, Sydney, and there is also a flower market.
The train was about 50 mins though, since there is track work for the other train I use daily. To get to the markets we walked through a vertical parking building and a long foot bridge, and on the ground it's a bit of a mess but very festive.
The fresh produce market was a blast, so much food with low price. It is actually much cheaper than the supermarkets with the wholesale amount. But so much abundance I actually don't need. We split some mushroom with an old lady since it was 2 bags for X, got broccoli, four avocados (still much cheaper than those from supermarkets), some carnations were 3 bags for $5, so quite lovely. We also get another small plant.

Anyway these markets feel totally different from back home, they are HUGE,and they are temporary/weekly based, so the organization is incredible. And seems 90% of traders are immigrants (non-white), but everyone is an immigrant here anyways...Overall fun time for a Saturday morning.
