Weekly Notes #8
April 13 - April 19
A long, rough and emotional week.
Running
- only ran twice this week: 5km and 6km.
- I got a new running tank top from Lululemon. I compared several options from other brands and consulted dear Claude and Gemini, they both recommended this fabric blend out of 3 options, so I trusted them, and this one was actually the cheapest since it was on sale. I got it and wore once, I'd say it is a good running tank!
Reading
- Yours Truly, by Abby Jemenez. I am not in a great mood this week and wanted to find some comfort in a romance story. This one is a good fairy tale, quite heartfelt and cute at the same time. And I found that I share 80% similarity of personality with the MMC, gosh I relate, life is so hard. I got to 3/4 of the book and do not plan to continue, the miscommunication was too long and I think that's enough dosage of romance for this week.
Listening
- The Stories Linger in My Mind, by Organic Stereo
- Blue Moon Blue, by Yukihiro Takahashi
- When the World Was One, by Matthew Halsall, The Gondwana Orchestra
- I cancelled my Apple Music subscription, and no longer use any streaming plan. I went back to downloading and owning music. I'm using an app called Doppler on iPhone and it works great so far. I saved screenshots of my play lists though.
Watching
- Succession, I finished season 1, very dramatic. I immediately started season 2. After I finish this series I would like to watch The Pitt, because it happens (the setting) in a city I lived in for five years. Can't wait.
Plants Stuff
- I had so much fun taking care of my plants this week. We have a number of new leaves uncurling, and I got some potting mix. I have repotted them from 66mm pots into 100mm pots this weekend. I now have a baby Monstera Deliciosa and Pothos N'Joy joining the family. My philodedrons are doing great, and I got rid of the spider mite problem for the alocasia. They now reside on an IKEA rolling cart, so I can move them indoors when the afternoon sun is too strong on the balcony.
